Guys can be the most complicated “things” in the world and at certain stages of our life, I bet every girl has cursed at least one guy under their breath (well, I have…not just once but umpteen times xD )
Therefore, It’s quite important to understand what’s going in their heads or how they may subconsciously react as a guy…
b4 we girls become the ones who suffer…And I am sorry if I am a bit too harsh!
but dw, not all the things are applicable to every single guy!
Anw, some of the things I wrote are read from a book!
5 TIPS to understand the opposite sex:
1. To guys, the only different between girlfriend and girl-friends is the HYPHEN.
Have you ever been jealous when your bf gets too close to other girls? Or perhaps the guy you are very close with talks to other girls? Why can’t guys just draw a line between their girlfriend and just female friends? Yea, you can be angry about it! But we have to think every carefully because guy could just easily turn their back on us and say that we don’t give enough trust and freedom to them! Now that we understand this every fact, we should perhaps give them trust and GET TO KNOW THEIR GIRL-FRIENDS!! Be good friends with them because that’s the best way to make sure they don’t do anything behind your back!
2. Guys have the simplest mind ever.
Do you get annoyed when they simply do not understand how you feel and all? You’ve been upset the whole day and tried to hint to them but you are simply ignored! Or when you try to hint that you like them and they just do not get the point!!! Guys do not think that much and their minds aren’t as complicated as ours to process things. (Perhaps why we always think that guys are into us when they are clearly not -.-) Anw...Spell it out for them! It’s a hard thing to do since we tend to be the shy creatures…. But if you want them to know, you gotta have the guts =] (personally, I would rather “die” than to admit to them I like them or so)
3. Guys make empty promises most of the time.
To girls, we perhaps hold on to every single little promises they make. They might merely say something along these lines, “I’m going give you something special for your b’dae” or “Yea, I’ll buy you that! (when you point to this teddy bear)”. To them though, it was just some words that spilled out for that moment to make you happy! All the “I love you forever and forever”…”You’re my one and only and nothing will ever change that” are simply heat of the moment! You can be the happiest girl alive for that time…but what about a week later…a year later? Can love never fades? (omosh, so emo!) To be safe side, don’t hold to their promises! The more you expect, the more you will be disappointed! And if they do hold on to their promise, well, It’s a bonus for you!
4. Guys hide their feelings/problems to themselves.
Guys aren’t every good at expressing their feelings. When problems hit them, they tend to be very quiet and usually just keep it to themselves. Maybe they do not want to show their weaknesses or make you worry. So, if they don’t want to talk about it, you best leave them alone!!They can be every nasty if you forced it out of them… Guys need their space and your silent support and presence.
5. Guys take you for granted after a while.
You’re always doing all the things for him. You love him more than he does. You care about him more than he cares for you. You are always the one who says sorry after a fight. And suddenly, he get too used to the idea of you being always there for him and that when you’re in trouble. You never get the appreciation you want and perhaps from time to time, he will tell you he loves you and all but pls refer to no. 3! Maybe we should take a break for a while to let them feel how is it like without you!! Give yourself the very best!
